Proquest Research Library
This is a good starting point for finding journal articles on almost any topic. Over 150 academic subject areas are covered, and many articles are full-text. Searches can be limited to scholarly, peer-reviewed journals.

America, History and Life
Indexes and abstracts more than 2,400 social science and humanities journals in the field of United States and Canadian history.

Biological Abstracts
Though this database has a biological emphasis, it includes some archaeology-related articles.

JSTOR
JSTOR contains electronic full-text articles from over 100 core journals in history, political science, philosphy, mathematics, economics, and other social sciences and humanities, including anthropology and archaeology. The most recent three years are not included for titles which are still being published. All text is completely searchable.

Sociological Abstracts
