Services for Traveling K-State
Faculty
Delivery of Photocopies
- You may request copies of articles from journals or selected pages
from books by completing online request forms. A separate form
must be filled out for each article or chapter. The requested materials
may or may not be owned by K-State Libraries; we will obtain items from other libraries that we don't have in K-State Libraries. There are no fees for
this service.
- Delivery speed depends upon whether articles are supplied from the K-State Libraries'
collection (supplied in approx 1-2 days) or obtained via interlibrary loan (often
received in 2-5 days).
- Most photocopies are delivered electronically to the Web. You will receive an
e-mail each time we receive an article for you. The e-mail will provide a link to ILLiad where you will log in to download your article.
Delivery of Books
-
We recommend that you try to obtain books through a local academic or public
library.
- If you have no local library, or that library is unwilling to borrow books
for you, we can deliver books to you from K-State Libraries' collection as well
as books obtained via interlibrary loan. You will need to return them
to us at your expense by insured US mail or a trackable
service such as UPS,
and your loan period will be reduced by the mailing time.
