Non-University Patron Policy
NOTE:
Interlibrary loan services are not available for non-Kansas residents. Please contact your local library for interlibrary loan services.
Non-University Patron Definition A non-university patron is defined as a patron who is a resident of Kansas, but is not a KSU faculty, emeritus faculty, staff or student. Non-university patrons are encouraged to request interlibrary loan service from their public library.

Non-University Patron ILL Procedure:
  • A non-university patron must have a K-State Libraries card in order to use ILS services.
  • All charges incurred in obtaining requested materials are passed on to non-university patrons as their requests are not subsidized by K-State Libraries.
Non-University Patron Library Cards Non-University patron cards are available from the Circulation Unit for a $10.00 annual fee. KSU alumni (with valid alumni cards), Friends of the Library members, faculty/students from Kansas Regents and BTP Institutions, and faculty/students from AIB and Manhattan Christian College receive free cards.
